Kori Hendrix, CI-CPT
I work closely with each client creating personalized programs so they can increase their energy, reduce their body fat %, build their strength, improve their coordination, balance and endurance. I stress the importance of proper form and injury avoidance in training. I work particularly well with those who are just starting to incorporate fitness and exercise into their daily lives. I have also had great success with clients recovering from injuries and orthopedic surgeries as well.
My Specialties Include:
The K SYSTEM my Functional Lifestyle Fitness and Wellness Coaching Program: A comprehensive coaching and fitness program including nutritional guidance, meal planning, smart grocery store shopping, label reading, how to navigate a menu, and daily activity planning in addition to personal training.
Senior Fitness: Focusing on injury avoidance whilst building strength, increasing flexibility, balance and coordination.
Studies show that a well-planned exercise program can lead to dramatic improvements in strength, balance, confidence and the ability to live independently in seniors from 50 to 80 and beyond!
Postrehab Injury Recovery: A follow up to Physical Therapy. Often when someone has finished physical therapy they are given exercises to do on their own. I help them to do these exercises properly and continue their recovery process.
Pre/Postnatal Fitness: As a former childbirth educator and birth doula. I am very aware of the special needs and adaptations these women require. Assuming there are no complications with just a few adaptations, a woman can safely exercise throughout her pregnancy.
